Christmas 2015.

So first we built a shed. Well, Husb built most of it.
We were expecting a houseful of offspring.
Somehow, even though it's now finished there's still nowhere to sit in this house haha

Meanwhile up in the North East Team #HolliBelly were waiting for their house to be finished

but were also busy being in the programme of the Boro magazine

as they watched a fantastic nil nil draw at The Riverside.

I miraculously got my cards in the post on time...

and Dids had a great card from Oggy :)

Cub then sent us a bearhug as he wouldn't be coming home for Christmas after all but was coming for Easter instead.

With just DAYS to go Team #HolliBelly moved into their brand new house!!

and I miraculously made AND SENT a stocking to Rach which was filled immediately by Ed.

By the time Christmas actually came we had built a shed, made a lot of stockings, sent some cards, had a keep fit party, tinselled up a hanging basket and had found the Santa stuff.

Christmas morning began with a festive run down to the river, over 2 bridges and back, and without getting soaked. That was to come later in the day.

We actually had a starter this year.
In Geoff's sundae dishes of course.
And wine in Bean's glasses.

New apron, new necklace

Then we had to walk it off.
rain or no rain, we needed to walk it off.

This year's games were CamelUp (FAB!) and Exploding Kittens (OK but not fantastic) and all the while the Jolly Holly candle flickered beautifully.

BOXING DAY
was a hoot and included a walk round the city walls

followed by a bit of raucous game playing in the Stammy

with the rest of the Hennies and StheB.

God Luke. Luke Two. Two Mark. Mark Seven.
While Husb and I relived our college days and Pixen was trying to understand why it had taken so long for us all to play Numbers, Kath was still trying to get SEVEN SEVEN in time to the beat. What a funny evening. We must have swapped seats a dozen times and we definitely got louder as the seven sevens went on.

SUNDAY 27th DECEMBER

Annual meal in Coventry at the Millpool!
Edith didn't make a sound and was perfectly well behaved.

As was Freya.

Penguin making was a success.

and hug with Bro was quite delightful.
