GIBRALTAR

After stomping around Malaga, Barcelona, Florence and Rome, and after all the strenuous sand sculpting in Cannes, we had a day at sea. A LIE-IN!!! I can`t remember anything we did because basically we did nothing, it was so warm and sunny we didn`t need entertaining.

Next stop was Gibraltar and what a welcome! Dolphins galore were waiting for the boat. They obviously recognise a cruise ship.. there were loads of them swimming alongside. Brilliant!

Anyway it IS an impressive rock.


Very English but with good weather. We didn`t have enough time to queue for the cable car or any desire to see some wild monkeys so we just strolled through the main street(Gibraltar IS only ONE street) where I bought a dress

and we phoned Drake ON HER 20th BIRTHDAY. Then it was up to the Botanical Gardens and back to the ship.



Look how close we were to the gangplank(!) ...roll-on-roll-off!
