Cub and Emily came home to meet Sophie.

Rhymetime is ace!
It's a bit like nursery rhyme revision for mums who have forgotten all the words.
Sophie loved it and so did all the other under-ones.

And then at last Cubster and Emily arrived.
It was great to see them both.
They've just got engaged!

As Cub and Emily were staying with the Bellsters, Husb and I had a spot of luxury at the Houndgate Townhouse which is only a stone's throw away from HolliBelly House and right in the middle of town. It's actually next door to the Dolphin Centre and a stay at the Townhouse includes a gym pass and a swim.
(If only I'd known about that!)
The reviews on TripAdvisor are all fab, it's very highly rated, we'd recommend it to anyone wanting a base to stay when they tour the North East.

It looked nice lit up at night.

The breakfasts were mega.
All dietary requirements were catered for and the portions were huge.
Husb's "I'll have one of each please" turned into a bit of a challenge.
It really was very hearty and set us up for the day.

We may not have made it to Whitby or Saltburn but we had a great day in South Park, planking and kite flying. We had a little practice plank in the garden first as I needed something a bit spectacular for my
 600th Plank Around the World.

To say "there was no wind" was a bit of an understatement so to fly the kite this high was a major success.

SGB took it all in.

And here it is!
PLANK 600

We were gutted that Cub and Emily couldn't come home to Chester for a couple of days but the main thing was they met their beautiful niece, and we will be seeing them again soon.
