Mr Chairman and Lady Teas enjoyed a splendid evening at the local cricket club partaking of some excellent nourishment (as usual, the apple pie was exquisite) and ample tea. There was a flurry of excitement during the evening's entertainment as Lady Teas drew out a Good Elf raffle ticket resulting in the winning of a great prize in the Good Elf or Naughty Elf raffle. However the highlight of the whole occasion was the fig salami from Silcocks Fine Foods which was presented to Lady Teas in the form of a cracker and which nearly knocked everyone out when opened, with its rich, pungent, alcoholic smell.
The company for the evening was second to none.
Ronnie was unfortunately a Naughty Elf.
