We had an hour in softplay to break up the journey ...
...to Whitley Bay....
...then walked along the beach to WAVES, a swimming pool with a wave machine which Sophie LOVED...
...and we were looking forward to f'n'ch in Spanish City...
...but apparently it closes on Mondays(???)
whateverrrrrrrrr
so had a takeaway instead...
...and an ice cream...OBVS....
...before settling down for the night in ALNWICK LODGE.
