Google for lunch!

WHAT A GREAT DAY!
Any day that starts with a jog along The San Francisco Embarcadero has to be good.

And then, with BIG THANKS TO EMILY we went to GOOGLE for LUNCH!

Google do a great lunch. They do breakfast too. You could easily work at Google, eat there and not have to go food shopping. There was a very good choice and it wasn't dissimilar to cruise food.
(Good veg and good cookies!)

What a view from the GOOGLE offices.
All that searching and surfing ...with a view like this :)
The Oakland Bay Bridge looked beautiful in the sun.

So did the Hennies.

So did

the 64ft x 143 ft
huge and fabulous Bow and Arrowww by Claes Oldenburg and Coosje van Bruggen
(who also did the giant safety pin)

And what about this for a photo.
Husb and I are so proud of them.

From Google to Zesty.
We walked the scenic route.

and now we were ready for our Pacific Coast ROADTRIP YAY!

Highway One here we come!

Calling at Half Moon Bay for a snack en route.

Cub drove half the way and was fantastic.

The Travelodge in Monterey did the job. Nothing glamorous but the beds were comfy and I had a great night's sleep.
