Husb's new found love of hot spas and changing rooms was the best thing ever.
All other plans were stalled.
We were after more spa action!
YIPPEEEEE!
Tram to Szecseyni Baths because Gellert had been so good last night.
The outside pools were superb. Huge and packed, delightful and hot.
I donned my Deva Divas hat and managed 14 lengths with my wonky arm which was a bonus, and then hit the bubbles.
Ten out of Ten for fantasticness.
Lost Husb.
Found Husb.
Met Tony and Yolanda from Michael's Materials!!
MET TONY AND YOLANDA FROM MICHAEL'S!
MET TONY AND YOLANDA!!
Shrieked a lot.
Shrieked even more!
Planked.
I'm sure there were several more pools we missed but it was so fab we didn't notice.
These regulars were playing chess.
We didn't really want to get out.
Heroes Square.
King St Stephen was soooo much higher than all the others!
We kept walking.
And arrived at the Opera House JUST IN TIME to join a guided tour.
View from the Royal Box.
Woe betide anyone who dared sit down in the Royal Box.
The guard made sure of that.
The Grand Staircase with Sisi's mirror where she checked on her thinness.
We were treated to a 5 minute opera as part of the tour but unbeknown to the guide, there was a school party having a tour and their tour included a bit of opera action too which was a real bonus.
Plus, I did a bit of belting.
Not that anyone took any notice.
St Stephen's Cathedral.
Up it.
As evening fell we began sailing out of Budapest to Bratislava.
Budapest... you were fun.
WE LOVED YOUR THERMAL BATHS.
