On our way to Amble we stopped off at Darlo to make and deliver cakes...
then carried on to Cramlington for a mooch around, and finally up to Amble for a f'n'ch supper.
SATURDAY 23rd DEC 2023
was Blyth Spartans v Chester FC!!
We couldn't miss that could we(!)
so we contacted Geordie Ian who was keen to go and we met him at the match.
I loved it!
We were really close to the action, we could walk all the way round the pitch, we met Emma and Mike who had driven up from Chester and we saw 4 goals.
2-2
(Chester should have won!)
Total crowd was 764
And tea was a superb Christmas dinner with Christmas pudding at the MELTON CONSTABLE in SEATON SLUICE
Amble main street looked very festive on our return to Dexter's Den.
CHRISTMAS EVE
The Alnwick Playhouse for a lovely concert.
and then a faceTime with Dids and Wils and Freddie
and tea in the pub.
==============================================================
CHRISTMAS DAY began with a little trot and a plank..
A self timer plank no less and I'm sooo pleased with my arm!!
and then the loveliest walk from
LOW NEWTON by the SEA to DUNSTANBURGH CASTLE.
A wild sea and high waves, lots of dogs and a couple of swimmers.
Had our turkey dinner about 5pm.
Family arrive tomorrow.
