There's a reason Afternoon Tea at the Grosvenor is twice the price of anywhere else.
It's just sooo good.
The savoury Gentleman's Tea included battered haddock with mushy peas on ciabatta
AND IT WAS SUPERB.
Onion tart, smoked salmon and cucumber, coronation chicken....
all top quality ingredients and then...
"Would you like more sandwiches?"
We said YES PLEASE thinking maybe we weren't getting any scones.
We got scones.
Warm scones.
A fruit and a plain.
Oh wow.
Look at the rice pudding cake.
We tried to be ladylike.
Christmas presents are OFF.
We are just going to go here instead.
