Darlo Sept 2019 The Devonport Hotel

33 years ago, when Auntie Liddy knitted the scarecrow family, I bet she wasn't thinking "These little characters may end up in Darlington in about 30 years time."
But they did.
Good as new.
AliHolli had looked after them well.
And they were well received.

Duplo also stood the test of time.
I can't see Dulplo disintegrating EVER.
Also 33 years old
 as also good as new
and also well received because AliHolli not only looked after it but also washed the whole lot and had it drying in the sun all over the lawn.

We had a nice pub lunch at The Devonport Arms which is between Darlo and Yarm and overlooks the banks of the River Tees.

Mrs Scarecrow came with us
and we played This Is The Way The Ladies Ride 🎵 on NanaBub's good leg.
