47ers Reunited. March 2019

Home for the weekend - right on the walls.

But first ...
The Distribution of The Aprons.

A place in France, a love of tennis, a penchant for owls and a decent beer..
JB had a clock.

The cathedral refectory did lovely cakes and tea. We were sat under the stained glass window.

The plan was to go up onto the cathedral roof..

..but first JB had to put on her habit.

"CATHEDRAL AT HEIGHT"
It was ace.

Gas lighting was installed in Chester Cathedral in 1819 making it one of the first English cathedrals to be lit by the new technology.

Below is a clock with no face or hands.
It still rings the famous Westminster chimes on the hour and the quarters...same chimes as Big Ben.

The curfew bell rang each night to announce the gates of Chester were about to be locked.
So any Welshmen had to leave.
or be threatened with execution.

It was a bit blowy up top.

ALBUM COVER!

Saturday night was Joseph Benjamin night and look what they did for meeeee!

Can't wait for this year's shenanigans with the 47ers.
