Husb and I picked the Cubster up from Crewe (LOOK AT HIS SHIRT!) and we went straight down to the river for an ice cream.
That evening was quite amusing as we tried to have a meal in the local Faulkner but we were ignored for about an hour and then the waitress disappeared out of the pub to buy milk...so we abandoned that idea and got a couple of curries from Sainsburys and watched the Liverpool game at home.
Winwin!
Nixen and the grandgirls arrived late on and we managed to successfully transfer the sleeping girlies from car to beds.
Next day...
Cricket Club and pond.
...working up an appetite for a carvery tea.
Which was ideal for Husb and Cub as they then went to watch Chester play Hereford...but was a bit interesting for me as I had to try and teach Aqua with a very full belly, haha
There were some hilarious Annual Charades next morning with some genius animals made and no breakages or wreckages despite Soph wanting to use every prop she could think of (like my prized trophy as a unicorn horn)(what an imagination) and then it was time to take Cub back to Crewe for his train to a wedding in France.
Then it was business as usual.
Lots of planks and lots of tea.
