Smithybear's wedding, Reigate.

Husb and I had an hour watching the cricket (very, very brown grass) and a bit of croquet (so cute and very quaint) and had a mozie around Reigate (nice) on the morning of the wedding as the Bells made their way down from Darlo on the train.
A very, very HOT train.

Someone was very excited.

But soon got to work on her masterpiece.

There was time for an hour in the park next to Travelodge Reigate with the Bells, Drake and Ad and then it was time to get smarted up for the weddinggggg!

Mr and Mrs Smithybear.
You Beautieees.

We hadn't seen Dids for about 3 years.

Or Wils.

Mr Steelpans was ace.

"Here comes the ice cream van, Luce!"

LOOK AT THEM!

Great wedding!
So well organised with lots of little details like sweets and glitter and the official video of the Wedding in the Woods...and Ed on guitar! Mr Brightside and Wonderwall has never sounded so good.

Next day, the new HUSBAND took us to the local park and showed us the school where he met his now WIFE and then it was back to theirs for shade and paddling pool fun and a barbie.
Heck it was hot!

Ooooh nice pinny. NUFC.

As we drove home on Monday, the Bells got up early and went into London to see the Queen.

Do you remember that heatwave?
Those three crazy days of "record breaking hottest days in England EVER"
It was so hot, the London Eye melted and the Bells had to have a refund.
Cute guard though and even cuter corgi.
Just don't ask about their train ride home.
Sweltering and sauna-like and so so long...

(But at least they got home, there were NO trains to the NE the following day)

BUT WHAT A FAB FEW DAYS WITH THE FAM.
It was so lovely to see everyone again after the Covid restrictions.
